Join Alan Baczkiewicz, author of Backyard Bird Sanctuary, for a presentation and birding walk at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 23 at Beaver Meadow Audubon Center, 1610 Welch Rd., North Java.
A signed copy of his book is included with your registration.
Baczkiewicz has been an avid birder for 40 years. His love for birdwatching began in his teens when he was a Junior Staff member at Beaver Meadow Audubon Center and led birding and nature walks at local birding hotspots.
He created his blog, Basics of Birding, to help spread a love for birding and to teach those new to birdwatching the skills and advice they need to be successful at this exciting hobby.
The fee for this event is $75 for nonmembers and $50 for members.
