Join Naturalist Tom Kerr to witness a spectacle of migration from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6 at Buckhorn Island State Park, 2136 W Oakfield Rd., Grand Island. Meet at Woods Creek Canoe Launch parking lot.
Thousands of purple martins roost for the night on Grass Island in the Niagara River as they migrate to the Amazon rainforest for the winter.
Binoculars will be available.
