“Poisonous Plants in Your Own Backyard” will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 at Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve, 93 Honorine Dr., Cheektowaga.

Some of the plants that grow in your yard or garden can be toxic if you eat the wrong part or prepare them the wrong way. Learn about these common plants and their chemical defenses, and about some poisonous plants and animals here at Reinstein Woods.

Please dress for the weather.

This program is for adults and children ages 12 and older.
