The Poinsettia & Railway Exhibit will be held from Friday, Nov. 27 – Jan. 11 at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave., Buffalo.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily with these exceptions:

  • 10 am-12 pm – Dec. 24
  • Closed – Dec. 25
  • 10 am-12 pm – Dec. 31

The exhibit is included with admission.

Be filled with the wonders of the holidays with fun twists of different colors and varieties of poinsettias. Be amazed by deep reds, magentas, pinks, yellows and apricots with pockets of traditional color accented throughout by silver and white foliage. As you walk through the beautiful poinsettias, you will also be able to enjoy a festive model train exhibit. The Garden Railway display, that is made possible by the Western New York Garden Railway Society, complements the surrounding poinsettias.

For everyone’s safety, tickets will be available in specific time slots to limit the number of people inside the Botanical Gardens at any given time.  We are committed to the safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors.  Please help us to create the safest space possible for everyone. Reserve your tickets early!

Pre-purchased timed E-tickets are highly recommended to all visitors, including members, due to capacity limitations. Walk-ins may be turned away if capacity is surpassed. To maintain the capacity limit and the safety of both visitors and staff, they encourage visitors to limit their visit to 1-1.5 hours.
