Enjoy Poinsettia Day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4 at Mischler’s Florist and Greenhouses, 118 South Forest Rd., Williamsville.
The Note-worthy Concertante flutists will perform beginning at 1 p.m.
See the greenhouse filled with 15 varieties of poinsettias. A new variety, Princettia, is as true a white as you can get. Find varieties in red, pink and speckled. They are full, vibrant, durable and long lasting–the quality is beyond what you can find in a supermarket. All are homegrown by Mischler’s, the only florist to grow their own poinsettias.
Any poinsettia purchase is 10 percent off that day; cash-n-carry.
You can also check out the “misfit table,” named for the land of misfit toys. The poinsettias on that table don’t meet Mischler’s high standards, but are still pretty. Those poinsettias are priced as marked.
