The Buffalo Audubon Society will hold a plants for birds program from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 at Beaver Meadow Audubon Center, 1610 Welch Road, Java Center.

Participants will learn how to create an outdoor haven by welcoming birds to their garden, patio or balcony, while also providing them with the food and shelter they need. Buffalo Audubon Naturalist Mark Carra will help guide participants through this National Audubon Society program designed to promote native planting to benefit local wildlife.
