The workshop Planting Garlic and Spring Bulbs will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct.24 at Tyler Street Community Garden, 73 Tyler St., Buffalo.
If you want daffodils, tulips and other flowers that can handle cold spring nights–now is the time to design and plant your beds with bulbs. Now is also the time to plant hardneck garlic–it takes a long time to mature–but to garlic lovers, it’s totally worth the wait.
This free workshop will teach you the basics and show you some tools to make it easier.
