Plant expert Bernadette Clabeaux will spotlight a wide variety of plants found along the wetlands, scrub areas and forests on the Eshelman Preserve in a presentation from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 6 at the Pfeiffer Nature Center, Eshelman Preserve, 1420 Yubadam Rd., Portville.
She will share the wonders of plant diversity and explain why each plant thrives in a particular habitat. The identification of invasive species and how they are changing our ecosystems will also be explored.
The program fee is $7 per participant.
