Perennial sale by Garden Club of the Tonawandas

Date(s) - Saturday, Jun 03, 2017
10:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Garden Club of the Tonawandas will hold a perennial sale 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday, June 3 at Niawanda Park (off Niagara St.) in the City of Tonawanda.

The sale is part of the Weekend on the Niagara Craft Show. The many varieties of perennials that will be available are from members’ gardens and are well established. No matter what sun or shade conditions you have in your gardens they will surely have something for that area.  Whether you are starting a new garden or need something to fill in an established area, they will probably have a plant or two for you.

If you’re looking for something different for your vegetable garden, they will have some varieties of heirloom tomatoes.  These tomatoes are unique and not the varieties you would find at local grocery stores. The shapes vary from “grape” size to large “beefsteak” size and colors include golden yellow, purple, and reds. These are also started (from seeds) and grown by one of the club members.
Feel free to stop by if you have gardening questions and they will do their best to answer them.
