Buffalo’s National Garden Festival, now in its fifth year,will again feature Open Gardens to visit on your own at varying times between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m., on Thursdays and Fridays throughout the month of July. (Some are closed on July 4.)
This year, some 90 outstanding private gardens throughout the Buffalo Niagara region will be open to visitors. These gardens are graciously made available to the public on Thursdays or Fridays in July.
Locations, dates and times for the individual Open Gardens vary, so please check the schedule carefully. The schedule can be found here and in the National Garden Festival Directory & Open Gardens Guide that is available at no charge throughout the region at local nurseries and garden centers, the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, and other locations. The guide is free.
The National Garden Festival is a collaboration between the garden and landscape organizations of the Buffalo Niagara region. The Open Gardens were coordinated by The Cornell Cooperative Extension of Erie County Master Gardeners.
