The Buffalo Audubon Society will hold Niagara rapids birding from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30 at starting at Goat Island parking lot 3, Niagara Falls.
Participants will join Buffalo Audubon Naturalist Tom Kerr at Goat Island in Niagara Falls for a morning birding walk at one of the best hot-spots to see winter gulls and waterfowl in North America. The Three Sisters Islands are closed for the season, but New York State Parks has given special access to view the gulls and ducks that spend their winter in the rapids above Niagara Falls. Binoculars will be available.
