There will be a meeting of the Niagara Frontier Botanical Society on Tuesday, April 11. This meeting is the annual dinner meeting at J’s White Elephant Restaurant in Lackawanna, commencing at 6:00 p.m.
The speaker will be Dr. Christopher Pennuto, and the title of his talk is “Stories of Species Introductions Gone Awry.” Dr. Pennuto is Professor of Biology at Buffalo State College, with interests in stream ecology, invasive species, and aquatic entomology. Dr. Pennuto is Program Coordinator of the Great Lakes Center at SUNY-Buffalo and also Director of the WNY PRISM invasive species partnership.
