The Niagara Frontier Botanical Society will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10 in the Harlem Road Community Center, 4225 Harlem Rd, Snyder.

Robert Warren, assistant professor of Biology at Buffalo State College, will speak on “Ghosts of Cultivation Past—Cherokee Legacy Shapes Tree Patterning.”

Dr. Warren’s research has focused mainly on species interactions in a changing climate, but also on the dispersal of species by native Americans.

The meeting is free and open to the public.
