Niagara Frontier Botanical Society: Gardens of Frank Lloyd Wright houses

The Niagara Frontier Botanical Society will meet from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 9 at the Harlem Road Community Center, 4255 Harlem Rd., Amherst.

Horticulturist Nellie Gardner will speak on the history of the Frank Lloyd Wright Darwin Martin House and Graycliff Estate. She will discuss these masterpieces and the restoration of the grounds currently underway at both sites.

Gardner received a degree in agronomy from Cornell University, has worked for Cornell Cooperative Extension and started an agricultural consulting business. She currently owns and runs her own flower farm, and is overseeing the restoration work at both Wright properties.
