BettyJo Jivoff will speak on “Factors Affecting the Success of Houghton’s Goldenrod and Other Rare Plants in a Central New York Fen Restoration Project” at the meeting of the Niagara Frontier Botanical Society. She is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Environmental & Forest Biology, SUNY College of Environmental Science and at Syracuse University. She is currently working on a fen restoration project for her thesis, and her study has included a number of rare and interesting plant species. Call 835-6042 if you need more info.
