The Niagara Frontier Botanical Society will meet at 7:30 p.m.Tuesday, Nov. 13 at the Harlem Road Community Center, 4255 Harlem Rd., Amherst.
“Gone but Not Forgotten: Persistence of Russian Olive Impacts in the Great Plains” will be presented by Graham Tuttle, Conservation Project Manager for the Western New York Land Conservancy. He is currently involved with their restoration project in the Niagara Gorge. He has worked for conservation groups and federal agencies in the western U.S. and taught conservation biology at Rhodes College in Memphis.
