Audubon Community Nature Center
You can learn about low light photography at the Jamestown Audubon Nature Photography Club’s meeting at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, April 13 at the Audubon Community Nature Center, 1600 Riverside Rd., one-quarter mile east of Route 62 between Jamestown, New York, and Warren, Pennsylvania.
The featured presenter is Chad Ecklof, who writes the “Let’s Talk Photography” column for the Jamestown Post-Journal. Ecklof’s website is www.ecklof.com, and you can find him on Facebook at “Chad Ecklof Photo Art.”
“Beauty in unexpected places” and “Beside peaceful waters” are the topics for the image review that opens the meeting. You can see how each subject is interpreted and portrayed.
An illustrated presentation on better black and white photos will be in the 15-minute tech portion of the meeting.
There will also be a show-and-tell time when members can show off some of their best pictures.
A social time follows the program.
First-time visitors are welcome to participate free of charge. The annual membership is $30. Among the benefits of membership are discounts on photography classes, field trips, and the right to show photos at club exhibits.
