A medicinal garden feature will be take place from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Avenue, Buffalo.
Activities include botanical displays highlighting the plant sources for medications used to treat medical conditions related to the heart and cardiovascular system, blood pressure education and screenings. From 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Catholic Health’s Mission on the Move team will provide cholesterol and blood pressure screening.
This event is included with regular admission to the Botanical Gardens and is being held in observance of National Heart Month.
Admission rates are $9 for adults, $8 for seniors (55+ with ID), $5 for children 3- 12, free for children 2 and under, and free for members of the Botanical Gardens.
