The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens will host a medicinal garden feature from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 at the Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave., Buffalo.
The theme will be cancer awareness and flu prevention and activities will include: educational displays about the possible role of botanicals in preventing the seasonal flu and the use of plants in treating and researching cancer.
This event is included with Botanical Gardens admission.
Admission is $11 for adults, $10 for seniors (ages 62 and older), $9 for students (ages 13 and older with ID), $6 for children ages 3 – 12 and free for Botanical Gardens members and children 2 and under.
