Maple Sugaring – Past & Present will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17 in the Taylor Road Family Recreation Facility, 2982 Lakeview Rd., Hamburg.
It is presented by Earth Spirit and the Hamburg Recreation Department. Please register through the Hamburg Recreation Department by calling (716) 646-5145 or visiting their website.
The program will share the methods of sap collection and maple sugaring preparation as practiced by Native Americans, early settlers and modern day producers. Following the program, a delicious pancake brunch will be served featuring locally produced maple syrup.
The cost is
$12 for adults and $7 for children under 12. The fee includes the program and brunch.
