Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village
March 15, 2020
Today, Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village has made the difficult decision to temporarily close until April 1st. As a community-focused organization, we believe this measure is necessary to do our part in helping to ensure the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, and neighbors. Although there are no cases of illness associated with our campus, all meetings, programs, and Guild gatherings will be canceled through March 31st as a precaution.
We will continue to closely monitor the current situation, including guidance from the CDC and Erie County, and will carefully reassess the situation in the coming weeks. During this time, we will continue working to prepare for a successful open season in our Historic Village, and for the workshops and Community Events scheduled for the remainder of 2020.
BNHV values our community, and by banding together and supporting each other during this difficult time, we can lessen the impact on cultural organizations, local businesses, and impacted families. Our thoughts are with all of Western New York, and we hope to welcome you back to your Village soon.
Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village will hold its 5th Annual Maple Festival from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday on two weekends, March 21, 22, 28 and 29, at the village, 3755 Tonawanda Creek Rd., Amherst.
The family-friendly event features a pancake breakfast and educational programming.
