The Buffalo Audubon Society will look for nighthawks from 7:30-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9 at Beaver Meadow, 1610 Welch Rd., North Java.
Join Naturalist Tom Kerr for a twilight birding hike. Once common birds across Western New York, nighthawks have been declining across their range. The group will look for these unique birds around the Beaver Pond as they migrate south for the winter.
Binoculars will be available.
