This workshop is a beginner’s guide on lawn care including seeding a new lawn, repairing bare spots, when and how to do routine care including mowing, fertilizing, weed control, watering and how to troubleshoot problems and deal with issues such as thatch, moss, and grubs. Participants may bring in a sample of their soil (use a small plastic sandwich bag) for pH testing. You may also bring weed specimens for identification.
This class will be taught by horticulturist John Farfaglia.
The fee is $15.
