Growing Gowanda will hold a farmer’s-market-style event to launch its vision for a proposed regional Agri-Hub and Agri-Tourism District in the Village of Gowanda. The event will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10 at 10 Industrial Place, Village of Gowanda.
Agriculturally based fresh food vendors, non-profits, organizations and educational institutions will sell and/or distribute products and marketing pertaining to their ag-based group or business.
Activities free to the public include:
– Horse drawn wagon rides by the Collins Draft horse, Ox and Pony Club
– Vendors (Honey, Baked Goods, Maple products, Vegetables, Dairy, Cut
Flowers, etc)
– Organizations (Future Farmers of America, WNY Dairy Princesses, more
anticipated)
– Information about the future development of this site as an Agri-Hub
and Agri-Tourism District
