You can view the fields of daylilies during special hours at Lasting Dreams Daylilies, 6425 South Abbott Rd., Orchard Park.
Open Gardens #1, Sunday, 7/11/2021 – Noon to 5 PM
Open Gardens #2, Sunday, 7/25/2021 – Noon to 5 PM
Open Gardens #3, Sunday, 8/8/2021 – Noon to 5 PM
Lasting Dreams has converted to being a Private Display Garden, available by appointment only, but still wanted to provide an opportunity for those who wished to visit without the need to schedule a visit.
During these open gardens, anyone is welcome to simply view the Display Garden or place an order if they wish. However, Lasting Dreams will not be field digging during these events.
All orders placed must be paid, and will be scheduled for pickup on a future date; however they will have special promotions running during the event, so you will still have the opportunity to purchase and take home a daylily if you wish.
They will have a large number of varied daylilies pre-potted and ready for sale at special pricing, however they will still be sold bare-root, or for a nominal charge potted with soil.
They will be featuring their Annual Seedling Sale pricing at each event. For hybridizers, not everything makes the cut to become a plant worthy of registration, but that doesn’t make it a bad plant. They always offer their seedling clumps for sale at $25, regardless of the size of the clump; it’s a great opportunity to fill a landscape with color, without waiting for three years for a new cultivar to increase and fill in that spot.
During these events, pricing will be $20 for a single clump, 3 clumps for $50, or 5 clumps for $75. They will tag and hold your selections, but they must be paid for at the time, and we will schedule a future pickup day and time.
Additionally, their Gift Shop will be open, not only featuring some past favorite items, but also new exclusive products designed by them, some produced for them, and all available through their new “Lasting Dreams Designs” division.
They have ample off-street and on-street parking available, and can handle anything from bicycles to buses.
They do have restroom availability and shaded seating throughout the garden.
