Date(s) - Sunday, Feb 21, 2016
2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
The Japanese Garden of Buffalo will host a mid-winter fundraising party to support the 2016 Buffalo Cherry Blossom Festival from 2 – 5 p.m Sunday, Feb. 21 at Martin Cooks, 346 Connecticut St., Buffalo. The party will have food, live music, and a silent auction.
This year the main goal is to raise the funds to return the Torii Gate to the Japanese Garden. This gate was removed in 2014 when it deteriorated due to harsh weather. An improved weatherproof design is a part of the 2016 plan for maintaining integrity and beauty of the Japanese Garden.
The Cherry Blossom Festival spotlights Buffalo’s Japanese Garden by bringing visitors, attention and support to this Buffalo gem.
Tickets are $30 for reservations prior to the party or $35 at the door. A cash bar will also be available. Make reservations online or call 716-445-4446
