Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper will hold a workshop on invasive plants near Gill Creek in Niagara Falls. The workshop will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13 at the Hyde Park ice pavilion, 911 Robbins Dr., Niagara Falls.

This event is part of the Gill Creek Riparian Restoration Project where, over the course of three years, more than 1,000 native trees and shrubs were planted by more than 600 volunteers. This workshop is for people who want to help with maintenance of the restored shoreline habitat and apply skills they gain to their own properties.

No prior knowledge is required.
