Introduction to Fermentation will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County, 4487 Lake Ave., Lockport.

Using a pressure canner is necessary when canning low acid foods. In this workshop, participants will learn how to use a pressure canner by canning a variety of vegetables.

All course materials are included in the workshop fee of $20 per workshop.
