Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County will hold an introduction to fermentation workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16 at Cornell Cooperative Extension training center, 4487 Lake Ave., Lockport.
In this workshop participants will learn the basics of fermentation for home food preservation. Participants will learn how to make sauerkraut.
This workshop is part of a series of six food preservation workshops. All workshops will be led by trained master food preservers and will be a combination of a presentation and hands-on group learning experiences. All course materials are included.
