Here’s what is now in stock at Goodman’s Farm Market, 2227 Cayuga Dr. Ext., Niagara Falls.
Homegrown produce includes apples (Honey Crisp, Macintosh, Cortland, Empire, Macoun, Jonagold and Crispin), Bosc pears, Niagara grapes, Concord grapes, acorn squash, honeynut squash, butternut squash, buttercup squash, Delicata squash (sweet potato squash), spaghetti squash, green beans, Hungarian hot wax peppers, green bell peppers, red and white potatoes, beets, green cabbage, red cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, pie pumpkins, Fellenburg prunes and Cherry Bank Farms sweet apple cider.
You can still plant black-eyed Susans, and they’re in bloom. Also check out the mums.
Halloween decorations are available, including straw bales, corn stalks, Indian corn, scarecrows and ghosts as well as orange pumpkins, white pumpkins, mini-pumpkins and gourds. They also have giant gourds– bigger than a loaf of bread– in many colors.
There are Halloween chocolates from Platter’s Chocolates in North Tonawanda.
There’s a nice selection of herbs including basil, parsley, rosemary and chives.
Houseplants include echeveria, jade, ferns and ivy.
Hours are 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily.
