Ice age trek at Beaver Meadow

The Buffalo Audubon Society will hold ice age trek from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at Beaver Meadow Audubon Center, 1610 Welch Road, Java Center.

Participants will join Buffalo Audubon Naturalist Mark Carra on a walking journey back in time to when the glacial ice was a mile thick at Beaver Meadow. The group will learn about the mega-fauna that called this area their home, from the enormous ice age beaver to the giant flying Teratorns. This is a family-friendly event.
