The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens will hold a hypertufa workshop at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 12 at the Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave., Buffalo.
Participants will fashion their own unique planting container from peat moss, Portland cement and perlite. Clothing will likely get dirty during this program. Participants should bring one container to mold their creation in. Containers must be no larger than 12 by 16 inches.
The cost is $25 for Botanical Gardens members and $30 for the general public. Registration is available online.
