Dr. Kyle Horton, Colorado State University Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology, will speak at the 30th Annual William C. Vaughan Memorial Lecture from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, April 12 at the Buffalo Museum of Science, 1020 Humboldt Parkway, Buffalo.

Using remote-sensing tools, such as radar, Horton works to better understand how many migrating birds fill the nighttime airspace, determine where and when birds are impacted by artificial light, and how these data can be integrated with community science records to better understand bird population migration and forecast movements.

The event is free, but you must register here.
