Date(s) - Sunday, Jun 09, 2019
10:00 am - 4:00 pm
This exhibit is included with admission.
Hostas are America’s favorite perennial and because they are grown and exhibited more for their diverse foliage than their flowers it is difficult to exhibit the whole plant. Hosta lovers show single, well groomed, leaves in vases. Hundreds of leaves that differ in size, shape, form and color will be on show. These will be judged the previous day by master judges from the northeastern U.S. and then displayed in large groups. Troughs, trays and pots, artfully planted with small hostas and companion plants, will also be displayed. Artistic flower arrangements incorporating hosta leaves will again be displayed.
Admission is $11 for adults, $10 for seniors (ages 62 and older), $9 for students (ages 13 and older with ID), $6 for children ages 3 to 12 and free for Botanical Gardens members and children 2 and under.
