The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens will hold a series of Horticulture VI classes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on five Saturdays at the Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave., Buffalo.
The cost for Botanical Gardens members is $100 for the entire series or $20 per class. For the general public, the cost is $125 for the series or $25 per class.
The classes are taught by Horticulturist David Clark. These classes are intended for beginners or gardeners and landscapers wishing to brush up on their skills. Those who complete each series will be presented with a certificate of completion. More information and registration is available online.
The schedule will be:
Feb. 23: great grasses and lawn care
March 9 : color theory and texture in gardens
March 30: world tour of garden design
April 6: tough plants for tough sites
April 27: edible plants and composting
