Genesee Country Village & Museum will hold a workshop on “Growing and Working with Everlasting Flowers” from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, September 10 in Town Hall at Genesee Country Village, 1410 Flint Hill Rd., Mumford.
Walk with one of the gardeners through several of the museum gardens and discuss which materials to use and when to harvest everlasting flowers. Learn how to hang and store flowers not used immediately.

Participants will create a 6-inch grapevine wreath, which was used historically to decorate the back of chairs for formal or holiday dinners, or dropped onto a candle base.

The fee is $35 general admission and $31.50 for members.
