A walk and talk will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 12 at the Great Baehre Swamp Wildlife Management Area. Meet in the Billy Wilson Park parking lot, 1290 Hopkins Rd., Amherst.
WNY PRISM is partnering with BWELL (Buffalo Women of Environmental Learning & Leadership) for this event.
This 270-acre preserve is a silver maple-ash swamp that boasts shrub swamps, emergent wetlands and upland habitats. The program will cover invasive species identification, ecology and management.
