The Buffalo Audubon Society will host a Great Backyard Bird Count training from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17 at Beaver Meadow Audubon Center, 1610 Welch Road, Java Center.
This program will get bird counters started with everything they need to know about how to participate in this world-wide event, including tips on identification, using binoculars, and how to make an eBird checklist. Binoculars will be available.
