Grassroots Gardens WNY will offer a free insect friends and foes workshop from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, July 20 at Herman Badillo Bilingual Academy, 315 Carolina St., Buffalo.
Participants will learn about the different insects that can be found in the garden. The class will explore the vegetable beds and determine which bugs are beneficial and which should be removed.
