A talk on “Gardening for Wildlife and You” will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m.  Thursday, April 2 at the Gateway Executive Office Building, 3556 Lake Shore Rd., Blasdell.

It will be presented by Oakmoss Education as part of Penn-Dixie Paleontological and Outdoor Education Center’s Spring Lecture Series.

The presentation will discuss strategies that involve cultivation of plants loved by both humans and wild animals. While this sometimes can be a challenge, this talk offers gardening tips and recommendations that can result in a harvest for wildlife and the kitchen table.

The event is free for Penn-Dixie members and $5 for non-members. Register through Penn-Dixie by calling 627-4560.
