Mary Jo Graham, founder and director of Oakmoss Education will give a presentation on “Garden Herbs for Food and Health” from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 26 at the Roycroft Campus, 31 South Grove St., East Aurora.
Harken back to the early 1900s and the herb gardens of the Roycroft community with this lecture on growing these helpful and flavorful plants. Graham will discuss various species of herbs that can be used in cuisine, body care and supporting overall health. From potted plants on a windowsill to a full-fledged garden bed, everyone can grow herbs and enhance their lives.
After the talk, you can pot up some seeds (two pots of organic herbs) to get you started.
The cost is $15 and registration is required.
