Essential Oils and Your Garden will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 5 at the Frank Bratt Agricultural Center, 3542 Turner Rd., Jamestown.

It is presented by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County’s Agriculture Program as part of their 2017-2018 L.E.A.F. (Learn. Empower. Achieve. Farm.) Workshop Series.

Essential oils are the life blood of plants. They are amazing volatile compounds that can enhance our gardens. Workshop participants will sample oils and hear ideas on how to use oils in your garden for a great growing season.

Mollie Vacco, local entrepreneur, mom to three boys, horse owner and hobby farm owner, will be leading this workshop, drawing from her experience with using essential oils for more than 10 years.  Bring your questions and a notebook tor this interactive workshop.  For more information, check out www.mollievacco.com.

The cost is $10 per family and covers the cost of one “take home goodie” and workshop materials.

Pre-registration is required prior to the workshop to allow for adequate time to prepare printed resources and materials.

To register, email kaw249@cornell.edu, or call 716-664-9502, ext. 202.
