Gardening on Buffalo’s East Side has a unique ambience often with an organic, natural look that reflects the lifestyle of many of its residents. There’s a wide range of gardens. Sure, if you’re looking for flowers, you’ll find lots of those. But we also have City Honor’s largest outdoor classroom garden, urban farms that support local families, and a Buddhist Center Garden with a three-story statue sent from Viet Nam. What makes them all special is the gardeners. Take time to talk with them.
