The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens will host a medicinal garden feature from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave., Buffalo.
February is National Heart Month. Activities will include botanical displays highlighting the plant sources for medications used to treat medical conditions related to the heart and cardiovascular system, blood pressure education and screenings.
Catholic Health’s Mission on the Move team will provide health screenings. The event is sponsored by Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, part of Catholic Health and D’Youville School of Pharmacy.
The events are included with Botanical Gardens admission.
Admission is $11 for adults, $10 for seniors (ages 62 and older), $9 for students (ages 13 and older with ID), $6 for children ages 3 – 12 and free for Botanical Gardens members and children 2 and under.
