The Samuel P. Capen Garden Walk is looking for submissions of original artwork for use on the Thirteenth Annual Capen Garden Walk 2014 posters.
Entries are due by Wednesday, April 30.
The University Heights Arts Association will jury the competition. This year’s theme is “The Art of Gardening.” Painting, photography, illustration, mixed media and digital art will be considered.
In addition to a prize for the first-place entry, up to 15 entries will be exhibited in an art crawl.

The Samuel P. Capen Garden Walk will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 12 in University District neighborhoods in Buffalo and Amherst. It is free. Maps will be available on the day of the walk at UB Anderson Gallery, 1 Martha Jackson Place (off Englewood south of Kenmore Ave.), Buffalo.
