An emerald ash borer (EAB ) first detector’s training will be held from 9:30 a.m.—3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25 at the Frank Bratt Ag Center, 3542 Turner Rd., Jamestown.
The workshop is for the homeowners, woodlot owners, people working for a municipality and anyone concerned about invasive introductions to New York.
Topics include how to look for signs and symptoms of an EAB infestation in ash trees on your property or in your community, what actions you should take if you have
ash trees on your property and how to conduct a tree inventory.
Please be prepared to be outside for the last part of the workshop. Lunch will be provided.
