Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County will offer master food preserver training to help you preserve the bounty of your garden and teach you new preservation techniques.
The training will be held from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, Sept. 9 through 11 at the Lakewood Baptist Church, 150 Erie St., Lakewood.
The cost for the training is $200 for Chautauqua County residents and $350 for out-of-county residents.
The fee includes state-certified instruction, a 340-page handbook, lunch each day and prepared food samples to take home.
Space is limited to 21 participants. Pre-registration is required by Wednesday, Sept. 3.
