The Niagara Frontier Botanical Society
will hold its annual dinner meeting on Tuesday, April 8 at Orazio’s Restaurant, 9415 Main St., Clarence. It is open to the public.

“ALASKA—A Botanist’s View: A Visual Tour of Some of Alaska’s Special Places” will be presented by Steve Daniel, adjunct biology professor at Monroe Community College (Rochester) and head of Nature Discoveries Ecotours to Alaska, New Zealand, the Galapagos and Madagascar. While not ignoring the great scenery and wildlife, Daniel will be highlighting the interesting plants of tundra, of forest and coastal areas.
A cash bar will start at 6 p.m. and the buffet dinner at 7 p.m.
The entrance to the banquet hall is in the rear.
