The Cornell Cooperative Extension of Erie County Master Gardener Program will hold two spring gardening seminars called Communities in Bloom.
Both seminars will have similar agendas. Topics include pruning; annuals and perennials; seed starting and vegetables; soils, compost and mulch, and disease and pest prevention.
The seminars run from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with registration beginning at 8:30 am.
The first session will be held Saturday, April 11 in the Unitarian Universalist Church, 695 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo. The registration deadline is April 7.
The second session will be held on Saturday, April 18 at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Office Building, 21 So. Grove St., East Aurora. The registration deadline is April 14.
The registration fee is $20. Active Master Gardener Program volunteers are eligible for a registration discount. To register, call 652-5400, ext. 177 or register online.
