Deadline for Recognizing Poisonous Plants in the Garden and Landscape

“Recognizing Poisonous Plants in the Garden and Landscape” will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 4 by Cornell Cooperative Extension in Niagara County in the 4-H Training Center Large Meeting Room, 4487 Lake Ave., Lockport.

Protect yourself, your children and pets by knowing how to identify the most common poisonous plants found outside and in our homes. Poison ivy, giant hogweed, wild parsnip, mushrooms and various houseplants are just some of the examples to be aware of.

Cost is $15.

Preregistration and payment required by June 1. Registration is first come, first served. Download registration form here, and mail to: Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County, 4487 Lake Avenue, Lockport, NY, attn.: Amanda Henning. Registration is not completed until payment is received.

Checks should be made payable to Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County.

Cancellation Policy:
There is a class minimum of 8 participants. If the class minimum is not met, or class must be cancelled due to unforeseen events, class fees will be refunded in full. If the class is full, your check and/or a refund check will be returned to you.
